Forgotten Realms - Raelishan

Painting practice, I won't even say how long this took me.. This smiley will summarize it for me:

This practice was incredibly enlightening however, I learned a whole lot: textures, brushes, I even worked my butt off on a background for once!

I tried to add depth, but the background ends up being an epic fail, the mountains kinda look hairy.. Oh well..


About the character: Raelishan is a Half-Orc, she was born in Waterdeep but grew up in the Neverwinter area. Her mother is an Elf and her father a Half-Orc (so she's not really a Half-Orc, more like a quarter of an Orc..)

She tries really hard to become a paladin of Torm like her grand-uncle, but is shunned by the paladins who refuse to associate with her. Angry, her blood boiling, she leaves Neverwinter for the Icewind Dale, where she hopes to meet other Orcs like her.
